Staff with the Northwestern Health Unit say they’ve received reports of six more COVID-19 cases in the area.

They include 4 in the Kenora area and 2 in the Sioux Lookout region. This marks the 22nd straight day of COVID-19 cases announced by the NWHU. They list 76 cases as active, including 46 in the Kenora area, 1 in Atikokan, 2 in Dryden, 4 in Fort Frances and 23 in Sioux Lookout.

Follow up with the persons involved and their contacts have started according to protocol. Anyone who is identified as a contact for these cases will be contacted directly.

Anyone who has COVID-19 symptoms or who has been in contact with a case, should self-isolate, get tested and remain in isolation until your test results are known.
