The long weekend is a perfect time to get out on the water. Matt Park at Lake of the Woods Sports Headquarters offers some tips for anglers.
"When the sun comes up in the morning and the temperature keeps rising, fish tend to move up shallow, along with bait fish, crayfish. They tend to move around on rocks that have sun on them," he says.
"If you're walleye fishing using live bait. If you're bass fishing using something like a tube or swim bait. Just throw it up on the rock. It's a deadly way to catch fish," Park continued.
The weather's supposed to be good -- today and tomorrow -- for boaters and swimmers alike.
