A 36-year-old Dryden resident is facing two charges of theft.

On March 31, the Dryden Police Service received back-to-back calls regarding thefts from the LCBO and the Queen Street Laundromat. Police received a call from the LCBO reporting that a male attempted to leave the store with a quantity of alcohol without paying.

Shortly afterwards, another call came in from a customer at the Queen Street Laundromat reporting that the accused walked into the laundromat and stole the victim’s phone. The accused was arrested a short time later on Orvis Street and was taken into custody.
