A 36-year-old Dryden resident is facing two charges of theft.
On March 31, the Dryden Police Service received back-to-back calls regarding thefts from the LCBO and the Queen Street Laundromat. Police received a call from the LCBO reporting that a male attempted to leave the store with a quantity of alcohol without paying.
Shortly afterwards, another call came in from a customer at the Queen Street Laundromat reporting that the accused walked into the laundromat and stole the victim’s phone. The accused was arrested a short time later on Orvis Street and was taken into custody.
36-year-old Sean Caston of Dryden is facing two counts of theft under $5,000 and two additional charges of violating court orders. Caston appeared in a bail hearing yesterday.
