The Dryden GM Ice Dogs recently recognized its players at their 20th annual Awards Banquet: 

Top Scorer and Jim Wright Most Valuable Player: Maxime Collette
Rookie of the Year: Brady Frattinger
Most Sportsmanlike: Ondrej Bardos
Top Defensive Forward: Tyler Earl
Most Improved Players: Bryce Benfield and Derek Koivisto
Defenceman of the Year: Jackson Jacques and Max Rath
Community Services Award: Lang Lee and Bryce Benfield
20th Anniversary Platinum Service Award: Mike Sveinson

The Ice Dogs were eliminated from the SIJHL playoffs following a series loss to the Red Lake Miners in the semi-finals. Red Lake will take on the Kam River Fighting Walleye in the finals for the Bill Salonen Cup. 

In the NHL tonight, the Oilers are the lone Canadian team in action against the Stars tonight at 7:30. For the late games, Vegas continues to push for the final wildcard spot in the west against Washington, the Coyotes are up against the Blackhawks and the Kraken face the Canucks. 

The Winnipeg Jets are 2-6-2 since March 31 after being blanked by the Rangers last night. They are 10 points behind in making a playoff spot. Winnipeg will face elimination with one more loss, or if the Dallas Stars pick up one more point against the Oilers.
