A 40-year-old Dryden resident is in custody. John Adolphus Lenny has been charged with assault with a weapon and failing to comply with a probation order.
The charges come after an altercation with a 26-year-old male. The victim sustained minor injuries and was treated and released from the Dryden Regional Health Centre. The Dryden Police Service say that this is an isolated incident as the two are known to each other.
Lenny appeared in a bail hearing in Sioux Lookout Court earlier this week.
