A Red Lake woman faces assault charges following an incident at a motel in the community.
On August 16th officers along with paramedics with Northwest EMS responded to the incident just after 9:00 p.m.
There they located one person with minor injuries, who was taken to hospital for treatment and later released.
The 33 year old woman faces a number of charges including:
- Assault with a Weapon
- Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
- Uttering Threats - Cause Death or Bodily Harm
- Mischief Over $5,000
She has since been released from custody and will appear in court again on October 19th
