A Dryden resident is facing criminal charges, after being in possession of brass knuckles.

On May 7, 2022, at around 11:04 a.m. members of the Dryden Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a disturbance on Van Horne Avenue within the city.

Once on scene officers located the individuals involved in the disturbance. After further investigation officers found one individual to be in possession of brass knuckles.

The investigation led to the arrest of 37-year-old Devin Bousfield of Dryden, and charged with the following Criminal Offences:

  • Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
  • Failure to comply with a prohibition order

The accused was released from custody and will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice Dryden to answer to the above charges at a later date.
