Anyone looking to get their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine in Kenora, Dryden or Rainy River today is in luck.

The Northwestern Health Unit (NWHU) is hosting walk-in clinics in those three communities today (May 25).

The clinics are open to anyone 12 years old and older, who wants their first dose of vaccine.

The Dryden clinic will take place at the Memorial Arena, the Kenora clinic will take place at the Kenora Recreation Centre and the Rainy River clinic will take place at the high school. All three clinics will run from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

These clinics are first-come, first-serve. You are reminded to bring your health card and photo identification with you.

To date, the NWHU has administered 45,882 doses of vaccine. 57.1 per cent of adults aged 18 and over in the NWHU catchment area have received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
