Two 36-year-old residents are facing multiple charges after police found and seized crystal meth, drug paraphernalia and a replica firearm after a traffic stop in Hudson.

The Lac Seul Police Service says the stop was made on the morning of May 21 with the help of the Sioux Lookout OPP, and believe the meth was destined for the Lac Seul First Nation community.

As a result, 36-year-old Rikki Star Kejick of Frenchman’s Head, Lac Seul is facing charges of:

- Possession for the purpose of trafficking,
- Possession of an imitation weapon for a dangerous purpose,

Kejick was released to appear in Lac Seul courts on June 30 to answer to the charges.

36-year-old Brian Panacheese of Mishkeegogamang, New Osnaburgh is facing charges of:

- Possession for the purpose of trafficking,
- Possession of an imitation weapon for a dangerous purpose,
- Fail to comply with release order,

Panacheese was held and remanded into custody for a bail hearing on May 25.
