A 12-year-old and a 9-year-old are facing the consequences. Police say that the two young males are responsible for smashing car windows in Dryden.
On Sunday, April 15, the Dryden Police Service received back-to-back reports of car windows being smashed. Police attended on Queen Street after a report of a parked van sustaining damage to a window.
Shortly after this call, police attended a residence on Victoria Avenue where a second car sustained a smashed window.
Police identified the two young males to be responsible for the damage. The suspects have been referred to the Youth Criminal Justice Program, as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

In March, the Dryden Police Service were investigating a separate series of smashed windows. A vehicle’s window was smashed at Laura Howe Marsh on March 3. The next day, a vehicle which was parked at an apartment complex on Van Horne Avenue also had its windows smashed.
