Members of the Kenora Aerialettes are back from Red Lake after an impressive showing. Alexandrea Spivey took first in all events, with Emerson Rose coming in second overall. Reese Tivy took third overall, and Avase Tsevende placed first in all events in her age category.

The 37-year-old needs just two goals to pass ``Mr. Hockey'' Gordie Howe for second on the all-time goals list. He became the third player to ever reach the 800-career goal mark on Tuesday with a hat trick against Chicago.

The Toronto Raptors will have the day off today after losing their third straight last night. Toronto fell 124-123 to the
Sacramento Kings. It's the first time Toronto has either lost or won more than two in a row this season. 

The World Cup final is now set for Sunday. France put a halt to Morocco's dream run with a 2-0 victory in yesterday's semifinal. The defending champion French squad will meet Argentina, which ousted Croatia with a convincing 3-0 win on Tuesday.
