The Dryden High School Eagles court sports continued yesterday (November 3, 2021) as they hosted the Sioux North Warriors.
The Senior and Junior boys volleyball teams concluded their seasons on the court with both of them taking the loss.
To start the Senior boy's volleyball team won the first set 30-28, before losing the next three sets by scores of 15-25, 12-25, and 19-25. The Seniors finished their season with a record of 4-4.
In Junior boy's volleyball, the Eagles jumped out early winning the first two sets 25-22, and 26-24, but the Warriors stormed back to win the final three sets to win the match. They finished their season winless.
Girls basketball was a different story as both the Senior and Juniors girls won both of their games against the Warriors. The Senior girls won 39-13 in their matchup. Leading scorers were Fiona Cook with 16 and Saige MacLeod had 9 points on the day.
The Junior girls Eagles took down the Warriors on the court by a score of 45-12. Jordyn Robichaud and Sophie Armit led the way for the Eagles as both scored 10 points apiece. Both the Senior and Junior girls teams finished their seasons with undefeated records.
