Donald was a hard-working man – not an office kind of guy, he was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed care taking, fixing things, working with driftwood, commercial fishing, farming and began gardening when he moved back home to his Community. He loved his Community, he participated in everything from creating art, jigging, any and all community events he was there. He loved and adored his family, especially his grand-daughter Rosemary. He was the best papa and uncle - all the kids in the family loved spending time with him because he was so fun. Donald will be greatly missed.

Our family would like to say Gichi-Miigwetch to WNHAC Home Community Care Nurse Travis and PSW’s Lisa, Liza & Paula – he really enjoyed when they did their home visits and was so thankful. Miigwetch to HSC Staff and heartfelt Miigwetches to Jennifer Joseph & Partner Ivan, Kathy Paypompee who all stayed by his side.

Donald’s favourite saying was “Go Home Now!”

It’s his time to go home now…
