The Dryden Police Service (DPS) had a very busy end of May.

Calls for service were up 7.3 per cent from last week to 193, while 21 charges were laid, a 16 per cent decrease from last week.

Some of the calls included;

  • Property Crime – 5
  • Crime against Person – 8
  • Police Assist/Assist Public - 27
  • Mental Health - 11
  • Traffic Complaints/Enforcement - 12
  • Foot Patrol/Property checks – 18
  • Other - 112

The DPS had made the decision to release weekly stats moving forward.
