Dryden Police Service has released its Weekly Calls for Service update and has shown a decrease in calls for officers.

During the week of June 28 – July 4, 2021 officers responded to 171 Calls for Service, and 9 charges were laid under the Highway Traffic Act and Criminal Code. This week's update shows a decrease of 28 calls from last week.

Some of the calls Dryden Police attended were;

 

  • Property Crime – 6

  • Crime against Person – 10

  • Police Assist/Assist Public – 27

  • Mental Health – 12

  • Traffic Complaints/Enforcement – 4

  • Foot Patrol/Property check – 10

  • Liquor Licence Act – 4

  • Suspicious Persons – 14

  • Other - 84

The Dryden Police Service is urging the public to contact police should they have any information pertaining to any unsolved crime. Should they wish to remain anonymous and be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2000.00 if their information helps solve a crime, they can anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at www.tipshelp.com, 1-800-222-TIPS or by texting "tip262 and their information" to CRIMES (274637).
