The Dryden Police Service has released their weekly Calls for Service update and calls have dropped from last week.
From July 5-11, 2021, officers responded to 165 Calls for Service and laid 17 charges under the Highway Traffic Act and Criminal Code. Calls for Service dropped by six calls compared to last week.
Some of the calls Dryden Police attended include:
• Property Crime – 9
• Crime against Person – 10
• Police Assist/Assist Public – 29
• Mental Health – 13
• Traffic Complaints/Enforcement - 8
• Foot Patrol/Property checks – 11
• Liquor Licence Act – 13
• Suspicious Persons – 15
• Other - 67
The Dryden Police Service are urging the public to contact police should they have any information pertaining to any unsolved crime. Should they wish to remain anonymous and be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2000.00 if their information helps solve a crime.
