The City of Dryden has made the decision to extend the closures at all municipal facilities until further notice, as staff continue to monitor the evolving COVID-19 situation. All emergency and essential core services will continue to operate.
“Drydenites have pulled together admirably to support and protect our community these past few months. Thank you!,” said Mayor Greg Wilson.
“Please remember, finish lines are always farther away for distance runners compared to sprinters. This is a long-distance event. I encourage you to hang in as best you can as we do our part here at City Hall to keep everyone safe.”
Social distancing measures include:
- Avoid non-essential gatherings and outings, and stay as home as much as possible,
- Practice appropriate physical/social distancing at least two metres apart,
- Wash your hands frequently using soap and for 15 to 20 seconds each time,
- Use hand sanitizer,
- Cough or sneeze into your arm.
If you have COVID-19 symptoms, self-monitor and self-isolate. If you are having difficulty breathing or experiencing severe symptoms, call 911 immediately.
Any questions or concerns can be directed to the city at 807-223-2225.
