The second-place Dryden GM Ice Dogs (14-8-1-0) will be looking to extend their winning streak to nine games as they travel to Fort Frances for a pair of games against the struggling Lakers (2-14-0-0).

Through their eight-game winning streak, the Ice Dogs have outscored their opponents 63-15, with two shutouts in the process.

Their current streak has allowed them to leapfrog into a tie for second place in the league with the Thunder Bay North Stars (13-7-3-0) with 29 points.

The Lakers are the losers of nine straight games and their last win came back on Oct 20, against the Ice Dogs.

Dryden will lead by the offensive threat Maxime Collette who leads the league in scoring with 22 goals for 37 points.
