A garage and two vehicles are destroyed following an early morning fire.

At 1:10am Wednesday morning, the Dryden Fire Service received a report of a garage fire on Wilde St., and upon arrival, crews found a fully involved garage fire.

All occupants were out of the nearby house by the time crews arrived.

The Dryden Fire Service was able to get the fire under control within 18 minutes.

“We call this a blitz attack on an aggressive fire, a few more minutes and we would have had a house fire. Practicing getting more efficient and getting water on the fire faster has been a priority for us and it paid off this morning.” said Dryden Fire Service Chief, Ryan Murrell.

Loss on the property includes a 28 x 40 foot garage and two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
