Ontario Energy Minister Greg Rickford says he isn't happy to see gas prices on the rise again.

"Prices of gas have gone up across the province, but we are still anywhere from 15 to 20 cents higher per litre. It's always been unacceptable," says Ontario Energy Minister Greg Rickford.

Prices dropped to 85 cents a litre at the end of April in Kenora. Last week, they ranged between $1 in Dryden and $1.23 a litre in Sioux Lookout.

For comparison, the price of a litre was 91 cents in Winnipeg last week, or 94 cents in Prawda.

Rickford called upon the Competition Bureau to investigate allegations of collusion in 2018, but in last year's report investigators say they found no evidence of price fixing or gouging.
