The chief of the Eagle Lake First Nation has passed away.
Arnold Gardner died last night.
Gardner was 72 years old and was chief of the First Nation for over 30 years
Back in 2004, he was also elected Grand Chief or Ogichidaa of Grand Council Treaty #3.
Gardner was first elected as chief of Eagle Lake back in 1990.
He was born at the Dryden Hospital on January 17th, 1951.
