The graduating class of Dryden High School’s 2020 Eagles will be able to have their graduation pictures taken over the next two weeks.

DHS has arranged local photographer Samantha Hawkins to take the pictures, which will then be available to download for free after June 26. There will be an option to print picture packages as well, and have them delivered to your door.

Dryden High School will be hosting graduation photo days on June 18 between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. for students with last names between A to L, and on June 23 between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. for students with last names between M to Z.

Photos will be taken in front of the school, and students are asked to arrive via car through the approved route. You will be asked to enter the Dryden Regional Training and Cultural Centre’s parking lot off of Kirkpatrick Street, before being told to advance to a line in front of DHS.

In front of DHS, as directed by staff, only the graduate will exit the car. They will then have a contact-less pickup of their cap and tassel, pose for 3 to 5 photos, return to their car and then drive off. It’s expected that it will take less than 10 minutes once it’s your turn.

DHS staff add that there will not be time for you to change prior to the photos, and you are free to dress in gowns and suits, in your favourite Eagles-wear or sportswear, traditional regalia, or whatever else you wish. Students are asked to come dressed in their outfit.

For students who have returned home or are no longer in the Dryden area, photos can be sent to Jennifer.Randell@kpdsb.ca.Staff will also work to bring you your cap, tassel and a yard sign. These photos will be used as well as Hawkins’ photos.
