Close to a thousand fans cheered the Dryden GM Ice Dogs to a resounding victory earlier tonight. They hammered the Fort Frances Lakers 10-2.
Thistle alumni Matthew Booth actually stopped 41 shots, but still took the loss for the Lakers. League MVP Jacen Bracko led Dryden with two goals for the win.
Dryden will now play the winner of Thunder Bay and Thief River for the league title. The North Stars and Norkies will play Game 5 tomorrow night in Thief River.
The Bill Salonen Cup final is set to start April 13th. It'll be followed by the Dudley Hewitt Cup starting May 1.
