The Dryden GM Ice Dogs missed out on their chance to take the sweep and clinch a berth into the Superior International Junior Hockey League's final series.
They went into game four without a loss in the best-of-seven-series against the Lakers in Fort Frances last night, but couldn't come out with the win.
Adam Withers of Fort Frances scored the first goal of the game and Dryden's Trevor Kavanaugh was sure to tie the game up with two seconds left in the first period. Dakotah Woods put the puck to the back of the net early in the second, but the Lakers answered with three more.
The Lakers are still alive in the semis with the 6-3 win and will head to Dryden on Sunday, April 8 to play game five. Puck drop is set for 4:00 p.m.
