It's been a tough campaign for Liberal candidates across the province this time around. For Karen Kejick, who's the Liberal candidate in Kenora-Rainy River, it's certainy been a baptism by fire.
With the premier conceding defeat, and the governing party watching as their majority was being reduced to ashes, the band councillor from Shoal Lake has simply had to put on a brave face and make the best of it.
"I felt really excited to present the platform, give people an understanding of who I am, be able to talk about that, be able to hear from members of the riding about what's important to them," she said, after the candidates' debate in Kenora.
After 15 years in power, the governing Liberals will be lucky to get eight seats, which is the minimum for party status in the legislature.
