Jimmy Lefebvre is a man on a mission. He is walking from Alberta to P.E.I. in support of the fight against cancer.

"At least every six or seven cars, they give me a honk and a wave. It's just great," he said from the road near Dryden Friday.

Along the way, Lefebvre says he remembers his father, who died recently from the illness.

"I wanted to do something. I couldn't figure out what that was for a while. The idea kind of popped into my mind. I put a few things together and made a decision I was going to walk across Canada and raise money for cancer," he said.
