The Toronto Blue Jays have the day off today as they prepare for a three-game interleague series with the Cincinnati Reds tomorrow. Jays pitcher Hyun Jin Ryu is expected to get the start.

The second strike in CFL history is over. The league confirmed Wednesday night that it and the C-F-L Players' Association reached a tentative collective bargaining agreement. The contract must still be ratified by both the CFL board of governors as well as the players association membership but the expectation is players will report to their teams today.

In the NHL playoffs tonight, the Tampa Bay Lightning can take a 2-0 stranglehold in their series with the Panthers with a win tonight in Sunrise, Florida. The Colorado Avalanche can improve to a perfect 6-and-0 in the post-season with a victory over the visiting St. Louis Blues in Game 2 of their series.

Last night, the Flames and Oilers battled it out in a 15-goal contest, with the Flames taking game 1 9 to 6. And the Rangers took the Hurricanes to overtime, with the game-winner from Ian Cole. Game 2 for the Rangers and Hurricanes is tomorrow night at 7 p.m. The Oilers and Flames will battle it out again in Calgary at 9:30 p.m.
