Staff with the Northwestern Health Unit have announced three new COVID-19 test results in the Kenora Health Hub region.

Follow-ups with those involved and their contacts have started according to protocols, and anyone identified as a close contact will be reached by public health staff directly.

As of May 23, the NWHU has reported a total of 1,048 cases since March 2020. Active cases include 15 in the Sioux Lookout area, 7 in the Kenora area, 5 in the Dryden area, and 1 in each of the Atikokan and Fort Frances regions.

Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms is asked to immediately self-isolate, get tested and remain in isolation until your test results are known.
