The Northwestern Health Unit has reported 14 new cases of COVID-19 across the district.
Seven new cases are in the Kenora Health Hub, five new cases are in the Sioux Lookout Health Hub and two cases are in the Fort Frances Health Hub.
There are currently 75 active cases in the region. There are currently 36 active cases in the Kenora area, 16 active cases in the Fort Frances area, 14 active cases in the Sioux Lookout area, 5 active cases in the Rainy River area, 3 active cases in the Emo area, 1 active case in the Dryden area.
Follow-ups with those involved and their contacts have started, and anyone identified as a contact for these cases will be reached directly by public health staff.
Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms or who has been in contact with a positive case of the virus is asked to immediately self-isolate, get tested and remain in isolation until your test results are known.
Today marks the 72nd straight day of COVID-19 cases being announced in the region.
