A dietitian from the Meno Ya Win Health Center in Sioux Lookout has received a prestigious award from the Northern Ontario School of Medicine.
Kaitlin Negus has been chosen as this year’s Northern Ambassador Award winner.
The award goes to a person who works with NOSM students and is recognized for creating a welcoming environment.
Negus has worked at Meno Ya Win for seven years, and this is first year she has mentored NOSM students.
