We're in for more unsettled and stormy weather. Residents across northwestern Ontario can expect more showers and thunderstorms tonight and tomorrow.

“We’re looking at more of the same in the area. A low pressure system is pushing through the prairies, and we’re expecting more unsettled weather,” said Environment Canada Meteorologist Gerald Cheng.

“It doesn’t mean that everybody will get lots of rain, but residents should be aware that thunderstorms are around. It’s also expected to be quite warm as well over the weekend.”

Residents can expect a low of 17 tonight in Dryden, a low of 15 in Sioux Lookout and a low of 16 in Kenora. The rainy weather is expected to clear up by Monday across northwestern Ontario.
