Efforts are being made to revive the Kenora District Municipal Association.
Mayors and councillors are meeting in Dryden Thursday afternoon to kick-start the organization.
The KDMA didn't hold it's annual meeting last year and it's hoped it can meet again next February in Kenora for it's AGM.
Kenora mayor Andrew Poirier says the meeting is important because municipalities in this area, can push resolutions to the Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association for support.
Poirier feels it's an important linkage to have and hopes the meeting will be able to get the KDMA back on track.
