She began her journey on July 17, 2023 in Grassy Narrows First Nation.

She was predeceased by her children Marceline Bouchie and Thunder Bouchie, her late grandmother Ivy Keewatin, her sister Robyn Fiddler, her grandfathers Jim Swain and Andrew Keewatin, her cousin Azraya Ackabee, grandmothers Lillian Swain, Maggie Land, Miskogiizhagook and Nora Sneaky.  Badger her dog and Stan her Chinchilla.

She will be lovingly remembered by her parents Crystal Swain (Emanuel), Derek Sneaky (Adrienne), her other dad Jason Fobister (Amanda), the love of her life Judas Bouchie, siblings Hazel, her twin Annie (Ian), Waasipiik and Honey, Daisy, Shaylene, Lillian, Shayne, Xavier and Asia, grandparents, Maria Swain, Louie Hook, Sandra Sneaky, Steve Lands, Roger Fobister Sr., Cathy Fobister, other Kookums Maryann Swain, Lillian Swain, other grandpas Chris Swain, David Sneaky, Shoon Keewatin (Lorna) and Larry Keewatin (Ruth).

She will also be missed by her aunties and uncles Jolene, Brian, Roxanne O’Neil, Kimberly Assin, Kendra, Greg, Sheena, Waawate, Roger Jr., Todd (Kayla), Dylan, Terri (Charles), Misty, Chrissy, Nate, Bonnie, Trevor, Jessica, Cynthia, Charlton, Russell, Bunny, Virgil, Dion, Cody, Chelsea, Cheryl F., Veronica, Natalie, Deanna and Vanessa.  As well as her cousins Marcus, Talia, Svea, Sinikah, Tayla, Mememgwa, Millie, Afeni, Kakiiga, Diondre, Kiwiwan, Robbie, Afeni, Millie, Danielle, Edmond, Corissa, Taneesh, Baby Nate, Jesse, Riel, Banaise, Billy, Keira, Waylon, Willow and many more cousins and family in Moosonee, Ontario too numerous to mention.  She will be greatly missed by her best friends Bird, Boy, Lexx, Akellies, Jayde, Big Sexy Keenan and many many more friends.

Nora was a Sundancer, a writer, an artist, a photographer, an advocate of our River, home and people.  Nora loved playing volleyball with friends, listening to music, attending and helping in ceremonies.  Nora was a very hard worker and volunteered a lot of her time to the youth.  Nora was an ambassador for Amnesty International and worked alongside many journalists and Filmmaker Layla Staats.  She loved all babies and children, her dream was to become a midwife.  Nora loved cooking and cleaning, it was what helped calm her.  Nora was a very loving and caring person, she loved many around her very deeply.

A wake service will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at 11:00 am at Crystal Swain's Residence, 8 Lakeshore Road, Grassy Narrows, Ontario. Funeral service will on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Crystal Swain's Residence with cremation to follow.
