Norman Savoyard
October 17, 1950 – August 25, 2023
Norman Savoyard, a resident of Minaki, Ontario passed away on August 25, 2023 at the Lake of the Woods District Hospital with his family by his side.
He was predeceased by his parents Mary D. Savoyard and Peter Savoyard, his siblings Martha Savoyard, Lorna Savoyard, Roderick Savoyard, Alex Savoyard, Steven and Bessie Savoyard.
He is survived by his wife Doris McDonald, his son Christopher White, as well as his relatives John Paishk, Gus Paishk, Gloria and Elmer Savoyard, Margaret Cameron, Fred Cameron, Virginia, Teresa, Tony and Brenda, Rhea, Lisa, Trevor, John, Angie, Danny and Doreen, Patrick and Gloria, Melodie and family, Michael Bryant and James Land Jr. As well as many relatives in Wabaseemoong First Nation too numerous to mention.
The family would like to thank the Nurses on 3rd East at Lake of the Woods District Hospital, Dr. Kyle, Rose Joseph and WHNAC for all the support shown to Norman and his family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 from 7:00 – 9:00pm at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre. Visitation will also be held on Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 1:00 – 3:00pm and 7:00 – 9:00pm at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 1, 2023 at 10:30 am at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre with Pastor Robert Wittmeier officiating.
