As the province's economy starts to gradually reopen, Deputy Premier Christine Elliott is encouraging Ontarians to continue with their social distancing measures.
"I'd just like to say 'Thank You' to everyone," she said, during a short interview last week.
"Thank you for taking all of the steps you've taken. For staying home, unless you've had to go out for food, medical shopping, for doing all of the social distancing and following all of the measures that you've followed," she continued.
"It's been very important, and this is the reason why, now, we've been able to start up our economy again," she emphasized.
Over the weekend the province allowed marinas and golf courses to reopen. A decision on schools is expected this week.
