Ontario Premier Doug Ford says they will now be looking into a regional approach to reopening the province.

"We need a plan that recognizes the reality on the ground, in different parts of our province," Ford said.

He added they're weighing all the options when it comes to a plan for reopening.

"A plan that will help us re-open safely without taking unnecessary risks, because a second wave of this virus is possible, so we must remain vigilant," he said.

The premier said he will speak more on the regional reopening plan in the coming days.
