The All Nations Health Partners are thanking the provincial government, MPP Greg Rickford and Minister of Health Christine Elliott for helping deliver personal protective equipment to northwestern Ontario.

“Ensuring the safety of frontline workers is a fundamental priority of the ANHP’s planning and response to the COVID-19 Pandemic. We are thankful to the Province and Minister Rickford for the delivery of the PPE and supplies as it will help safely sustain vital supports and services in the Kenora area,”says Henry Wall, Chief Administrative Officer, Kenora District Services Board.

In March, the ANHP made a request to the Ministry of Health for PPE and supplies to help keep frontline workers and First Nation communities safe in the Kenora district, during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Now more than ever, frontline workers are dependent on basic infection and control measures to prevent the spread of infection. We are appreciative of the Province and Minister Elliott for the successful delivery of these crucial supplies and their commitment to ensuring the Kenora area can safely offer health care services," says Joe Barnes, Executive Director of Kenora Chiefs Advisory.

The All Nations Health Partners and MPP Rickford will be making PPE deliveries across the region and to partner agencies this week.
