Phase 2 of the reopening plan for DriveTest centres takes affect today.

Beginning today the following services will be available at DriveTest centres:

  • Class G2 road tests
  • Class M2 and class M motorcycle road tests
  • Commercial driver road tests availability will expand to 42 DriveTest locations across Ontario -- including Kenora and Dryden
  • Part-time Travel Point locations will resume driver examination services as the shared facilities they are located in become available for the public's use

Dryden and Kenora are also some of the few areas not restricting access to services based on birth month.

Customers and visitors must wear face coverings when entering a DriveTest Centre, and all customers, including road test applicants, will be asked basic health screening questions.

Class G road tests will resume in phase 3 of DriveTest’s reopening plan. That is expected to come into affect on September 8, 2020.
