Avery Siau has received a 25-game suspension from the SIJHL. The 20-year-old is a member of the Thunder Bay North Stars.

He's accused of punching Dryden head coach Kurt Walsten, following Game 3 of their series at Fort William Gardens. Siau had previously been suspended a game for incidents, including head contact and a slew foot. Siau had 63 points in 49 games with the North Stars.

Dryden and Thunder Bay are set to play a rematch on Thursday, during the Dudley-Hewitt Cup tournament. The Cochrane Crunch and Wellington Dukes are joining Dryden and Thunder Bay this week. The games begin Tuesday, and they'll run through the finals on Saturday night.The winner advances to the RBC Cup in Chilliwack.
