Snow is expected to develop this morning across Northwestern Ontario as a low pressure system approaches the area.
As a result, buses have been cancelled in Dryden, Vermilion Bay, and Sioux Lookout.
Dryden is currently under a snowfall warning.
Total snowfall amounts of 15 to 25 cm are likely by the time the system tapers off Thursday.
Residents are advised the snow may mix with ice pellets at times over some regions.
Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.
This snowfall could have quite an impact on travel. Accumulating snow on untreated roads and low visibility in areas of heavier snow will result in hazardous winter driving conditions.
