A busy night for slo-pitch in Kenora last night. On the men's side, Beauty Bay took down Titan Contractors 25-9, Centuries topped the Mariners 29-6 and Neechie's won 25-17 over the Legends. On the women's side, it was a close game, but CUPE won 17-15 over the Clippers. DJ Services destroyed Jarnel 37-5, and the Neniska Crushers squeaked by KTown Kafe 21-20. 

In men's soccer, the Playaz take on the Centuries, and the Gunners kick off against the Stingers. Games go at 7:30 at Tom Nabb. 

Tyler Bozak scored 3:38 into overtime and the St. Louis Blues fended off elimination in Game 5 of the Western Conference semifinals, overcoming a three-goal deficit in a 5-4 victory over the Colorado Avalanche

The sixth playoff edition of the Battle of Alberta could come to an end tonight. The Edmonton Oilers have the Calgary Flames on the brink of elimination with a commanding 3-1 series lead. The Flames will have the Scotiabank Saddledome crowd rocking in the hopes of a Game 6 on Saturday in Edmonton.

Also on the docket in the Stanley Cup Playoffs tonight, the Carolina Hurricanes will host the New York Rangers with their series all tied up at two games apiece. The Hurricanes have yet to lose at home this post-season.

After a day off, the Toronto Blue Jays are back in action tonight as they open up a four-game series at Rogers Centre with the Los Angeles Angels
