Four people are facing charges after officers with the Nishnawbe Aski Police Service took cocaine, methamphetamine and more off the streets in a recent bust.

NAPS says officers conducted a traffic stop in Constance Lake First Nation on March 1 and found 21 grams of cocaine, 6 grams of methamphetamine, 260 morphine pills and $4,000 of cash.

As a result, a 42-year-old Thunder Bay man is facing charges of:

- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking x4,
- Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose,
- Fail to Comply with Release Order,
- Personation with Intent to Avoid Arrest,

A 38-year-old Geraldton man is facing charges of:

- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking x3,

A 25-year-old woman from Nakina is facing charges of:

- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking x3,

A 50-year-old man from Constance Lake First Nation is facing charges of:

- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking x4,
- Fail to Comply with Release Order x3,

The 42-year-old of Thunder Bay has been remanded into custody.

The 38-year-old of Geraldton and the 25-year-old of Nakina were released on an Undertaking with conditions and are set to appear in court in early May.

The 50-year-old of Constance Lake First Nation was held for a bail hearing and was released with conditions. He is set to appear in court later this month in Hearst.
