Tonica Tracy Ann Kirchner, a radiant spirit born in Kenora, Ontario on September 6th, 1996, ascended to be with God on July 24th, 2023. She was just 26, a beautiful young lady, mom and daughter, that left us too soon.
Tonica's legacy is gracefully carried forward by her fiancé, Riley Beacham, and her three boys: Gabriel, Nevan, and newborn Levi. She is lovingly remembered by her father, Lyle Kirchner (Shannon Davis), mother Renee Strath, brothers Jordan, Hayden, and Finley, father and mother in-law, Bruce Beacham (Michelle Bretecher), sister in-law, Ashely Beacham (Ben Giroux), her grandparents Ken (Judy) Kirchner and Derek (Sharon) Strath. Her uncles Terry and Daryl Kirchner, cousins Kyra Strath and Chloe Frenette, lifelong friends Bree Haney, Kassandra Barling, and a vast array of saddened family and friends also mourn her departure.
A force of nature, Tonica lived her life with passion, without a hint of regret. She live life by her truth and values. She had a knack for seizing every opportunity, setting ambitious goals, and scaling insurmountable heights to realize her dreams. Her resolve and determination were unshakable; once set on a path, she would always succeed.
With an early aspiration for family, Tonica became a mother to Gabriel and Nevan while juggling full-time College and University education. She received her Business Diploma and fueled by her love for knowledge, went on to achieve her Honours Commerce Degree just months before her passing. This past year marked monumental milestones: graduation, a new family home, an engagement, and the birth of her youngest, Levi. She stood tall, proud of the culmination of six relentless years of dedication, perseverance, and tireless hard work.
In her spare time, Tonica loved nurturing her home. She dove deep into her culinary passions and loved crafting a sanctuary for her family. She cherished moments spent with her boys, whether it was playful hours at the beach, long visits with grandparents, early morning coffee, spending time with her moms, or weekends with Riley's family in Sioux Narrows. Nature walks, campfire sessions, hearty laughs, playful banter, fishing expeditions, and lakeside picnics were her joys in life. Her laughter was contagious, her sense of humor sharp, always brightening everyone's day.
Despite her brief time with us, Tonica's impact on friends, family, and her community was profound. While our hearts yearn for more moments with her, we find solace knowing that Heaven gained a truly remarkable soul.
A visitation for Tonica will be held Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at 10:00 am at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 429 2nd Street South, Kenora, Ontario, followed by a Service of Remembrance at 11:00 am.
