The Dryden community was able to celebrate the second consecutive Bill Salonen Cup win for the Dryden GM Ice Dogs, after taking down the Thunder Bay North Stars in game 6.
Ted Davis put the puck to the back of the net 55 seconds into the third period to finalize the score at Fort William Gardens and was afterwards named the CCM Hockey Playoff Most Valuable Player for his efforts in helping his side capture the Cup.
The GM Ice Dogs outshot the North Stars 49-37.
