Drivers in Dryden are now able to use the overpass. Crews from Union Gas reopened the intersection of Duke Street and Colonization earlier today.
"That's a temporary fix. Things are safe now, and we're probably coming back in the spring to do a permanent repair," said Andrea Stass, on behalf of the utility.
Engineering teams with the utility were hoping to be able to provide a temporary fix to the leak, without having to turn off service to customers, who use natural gas to heat their homes in the cold weather.
A leak was reported Friday, and a detour had been in place since then.
