As promised, the northwest region got hit with a dump of snow yesterday. Environment Canada's Gerald Cheng explained.
"8 cm so far, and more to come actually. If we take a look at the visibility people can hardly see beyond 1 km. So, it's pretty wintry out there," he said.
He added that we're not out of the woods yet.
"We'll still be getting snow today. Another 4 cm isn't out of the question. The system will be winding down this afternoon, so we're only expecting flurries as we head into the evening hours and even overnight," he said.
Cheng also warned that another smaller system could be on the way for the weekend.
