For people with some painting experience.
Have you ever wondered why you see people paint a red canvas before painting the rest?
This class will answer that question and more!
Acrylic painting has many techniques, advantages and disadvantages. I began as an oil painter, but switched completely over to acrylics and by doing so, I’ve learned how to manipulate the paint.
We will tackle four under-paintings and then hopefully respond with four quick paintings. You may use paper, or canvas, up to you.
To bring:
——————
1. Mixed media paper or canvases ( about 4 small sized - I like 9x12)
2. White gesso
3. Acrylic paints
4. Fluid medium or matte medium
5. Brushes, pencil, ruler, masking tape
6. Water container
7. Paper towel
8. Easel if you like
9. Board to tape paper on so that you can work on an easel
Let me know if you need a board or easel, as I have some you could use for that day.
