It's going to be a wet weekend. Showers are in the forecast today all the way to Monday.
Environment Canada Meteorologist Gerald Cheng explains.
"As we head into Saturday and Sunday, there is a system that's coming from the plains and moving up towards Manitoba and northwestern Ontario. So, we could expect some shower activity Saturday and even into Sunday," he said.
Cheng also reminds residents to be safe when lightening hits the region, and stay indoors until 30 minutes after the last flash of lightening strikes.
