Seems like Christmas trees are coming down everywhere!

The Dryden Rotary Club had another successful Christmas Tree pick up this year. With the help of 20 Rotarians and 10 trucks - over 50 trees were picked up over the weekend and brought to the Dryden landfill! IMG_1109.jpeg

For those in Kenora who still have yet to dispose of their Christmas tree, you can do so at the Transfer Station throughout the month of January where they will recycle your tree for you! (Of course, please remove any ornaments or paraphernalia prior to drop-off!)

You can drop it off during regular hours where tipping fees will be waived and they will take your tree free of charge! The tree will then be chipped on-site and will be available for residents to use for landscaping purposes! (That will be no charge, too!)

Transfer Station hours:

Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Sunday* 12 noon – 4 p.m.
